For more than forty years, Delta Western has kept Alaska fueled. What began as a single fueling station in Dutch Harbor in 1984 has grown into one of the state's leading independent fuel distributors, delivering over 200 million gallons annually across Western, Interior, and Southeast Alaska, often through some of the most demanding conditions anywhere in the country.

That statewide reach today includes the histories of two companies that have joined the Delta Western family. Alaska Petroleum has served Interior Alaska's homes and worksites since 1981, building a reputation on the same grit and local know how that defines life in the interior. Inlet Energy, founded in 1986 as Inlet Petroleum Company, became one of Alaska's first distributors for major brands like Phillips 66, BP and Shell, and has been part of the Saltchuk family of businesses alongside Delta Western since 2005.

Different roads, same destination. Whether it's heating a home, keeping a worksite running, or supplying the fuel and lubricants Alaska's industries depend on, Delta Western's local teams know the roads, the weather, and what it takes to get fuel where it needs to go. We've got more trucks and more reach than we did in the 80s, but the core of how we do business, safety first, service always, and a deep respect for the communities we operate in, hasn't changed.
