Community Giving

In order to bring forward innovative and impactful solutions, we must actively engage with our local communities. That’s why we are committed to supporting quality initiatives that make a difference in the communities where we live, work and play. Delta Western, as part of the NorthStar Energy family of companies, supports their local communities through cash gifts, in-kind gifts, or volunteer support.

Annual Scholarship Program

In 2006, Delta Western started an annual scholarship program that offers one $10,000 scholarship (paid over 4 years) to a graduating senior in each of its operating communities. The recipients are selected by a scholarship committee and students are evaluated on the following criteria: academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA), community involvement, extracurricular activities, awards received, and financial need. The scholarships can be used toward any accredited educational institution including university, college, vocational, technical or trade school.
