Reliable service, community commitment, and a deep connection to the place we call home.
For more than 40 years, Delta Western has been a trusted fuel partner across Alaska. From bustling ports to remote islands, our mission has always been the same: deliver safe, dependable service for the communities we serve. That commitment runs especially deep in Dutch Harbor, the community where our story began.
Delta Western’s Roots
Delta Western Dutch Harbor began as a single station in 1984 and has grown into one of Alaska’s most trusted fuel providers. Today, we continue to serve the region with a full suite of residential, commercial, marine, and aviation fuel services, along with a dedicated team that lives and works here.
Site Manager Wayne Jackson and his local crew are deeply involved in community leadership and public safety. Wayne acts as Vice‑Chairperson of the Unalaska Local Emergency Planning Committee and as Chairperson of the Community Emergency Response Team. The company also supports area activities and organizations, including sponsoring and volunteering for the Unalaska Little League.
Powering a Resilient Community
Dutch Harbor lies on Amaknak Island, part of the City of Unalaska, and stands out as the largest commercial fishing port in the Pacific. Its location, rugged terrain, and volatile weather make consistent fuel access essential.
Dutch Harbor is also a unique destination for travelers seeking history, wildlife, and beautiful scenery that’s off the beaten path. Visitors come to explore World War II sites, hike coastal trails shaped by the island’s volcanic past, and spot bald eagles, sea lions, and even whales.
